    "GIAMBI"
2012 MCOA AKC Champion of Health

I can't even begin to tell you how proud I am of Giambi, everyone who knows me knows I have 3 boys, 2 human and Giambi.  He has accomplished so much I literally don't remember everything.  At 3 months of age, July 23, 2008, his first time in the ring he won Best in Show Puppy at  a UKC show. As we went to fun matches we continued to do well earning 6 group ones 2 group twos. At just 6 months old October 25-26, 2008 he started and finished his UKC championship in one weekend beating multiple AKC Champions. At the Flat Irons Kennel Club fun match on Feb 8, 2009 he won Best in Show puppy. The following weekend we went to the largest show in Colorado. We could not be prouder of how he did at just 9 mos old, Giambi's wins at the Rocky Mtn Cluster include: Best of Breed - 5 pts - 45 Mastiffs - 12 Specials Best in Show Puppy Entry of 378 Winners Dog - Best of Winners - Award of Merit - 5 pts 64 Mastiffs - 20 Specials and Best in Puppy Sweepstakes all three days. Two weeks later we went to the High Plains UKC show and now showing as a Champion he won 3 of 4 Best of Breeds and a Best in Show.  After a few months break Giambi finishes his Championship with 5 pt major at the Mastiff Club of America National Specialty winning Best of Winners! Just 2 months later his first time out as a special he won breed both days and got a group 4 on Saturday and a group 1 on Sunday becoming the youngest mastiff at just 15 months old to get a group 1.

Giambi has gone on to do so many wonderful accomplishments but the one I am proudest of is when we won Best of Breed together at the Eukanuba Classic in 2009.  He has also won the REMC Regional Specialty and has won 2 All Breed Best in Shows.  Not only is Giambi beautiful he has an amazing temperament having pasted his AKC Canine Good Citizen, and the American Temperament Test.  He also has his Rally Novice Title, making him the complete package beauty and brains.

He has been health tested and is certified CHIC #74047 with CERF (eyes), PRA DNA, CMR DNA clear, OFA cardiac, and OFA Pattelars, OFA normal elbows and OFA hips good, OFA Thyroid normal, UPenn cystinuria normal, and vWF normal.

I am so proud of everything he has done and look forward to his future accomplishments. A BIG THANK YOU to:
Lexington Mastiff for breeding and entrusting him with me and my family
Joe and Carla Sanchez who saw his promise as a puppy, his potencial as a young dog, and now his future.
Bill and Taffe MCFadden and their team for showing him in 2010 and 2011, especially their assistant Dani who loves him as her own
Susie and Jorge Olivera and their team for showing him in 2012.
